The message that appears on the welcome page is a short bible passage from a talk in a recent service.

Message - 1st March

It's who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That's the kind of people the father is looking out for: those that are simply and honestly themselves before him ......

John 4 :22-24

Message - 8th March

"Come and meet a man who told me everything I ever did. Can this be the Messiah?"

John 4 :29

This passage quotes a woman who had just met Jesus for the first time, she is inviting the people of her town to come and meet him. Words that reach across the centuries to people today. Read the story here ...

Message -15th March

A longer passage this week so rather than post it here, follow the bible gateway link.

There is one conversation and three audiences.

Jesus answers the official directly.

Jesus' second response is to the crowd who either expected or hoped to see a miracle.

But this was never a sideshow, never about providing "proof" through seeing wondorous things. It was all about the nature of faith and what it means to have faith.

The man with faith, had to trust, had to journey back home to truly see.

The crowd were given words to think about, that is if their hearts were open and listening.

The third audience? Us! There is so much to think about in this passage.

Message -22nd March

Very little is recorded about Jesus' childhood in the bible. One thing we do know is that he was part of a loving family. A family that experienced the worry when a child goes missing....

..... a child that was fully human, but also, so much more.

Message -29th March

Who saw Jesus alive after his death? How contemporary are the accounts of the New Testement? Well this weeks message talks about first hand witnesses.....

"... the Messiah died for our sins, ...

...... he was buried; he was raised from death on the third day ............ he presented himself alive to Peter, then to his closest followers, and later to more than five hundred of his followers all at the same time, most of them still around (although a few have since died); that he then spent time with James and the rest of those he commissioned to represent him...."

Palm Sunday 5th April

As he rode along, the crowds spread out their garments on the road ahead of him. When he reached the place where the road started down the Mount of Olives, all of his followers began to shout and sing as they walked along, praising God for all the wonderful miracles they had seen.

“Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the LORD! Peace in heaven, and glory in highest heaven!”

Luke 19:36-37

But as he came closer to Jerusalem and saw the city ahead, he began to weep. “How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes.

Luke 19:41-42

Easter Sunday 12th April

Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus' body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.

They asked her, "Woman, why are you crying?"

"They have taken my Lord away," she said, "and I don't know where they have put him." At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there......

What is "God's Grace"? Message - Sunday 3rd May

.......you are a people set apart as holy to God, your God chose you out of all the people on Earth for himself as a cherished, personal treasure.

God wasn't attracted to you and didn't choose you because you were big and important—the fact is, there was almost nothing to you.

He did it out of sheer love.......
